Housekeeping is a collection of short risoprinted zines that depict snippets of the lives of those who are either old or chronically ill, and have a housekeeper through their WMO indication from the government.

Working as a housekeeper over the summers of 2022 and 2023, I have met a lot of interesting people. Each have their own story, their own preferred cleaning methods, and above all, their own idea of what a good life is. Since many of my clients were elderly people, I got to hear about what and who they care about, what they think I -a young person- should focus on, and what they think about life and death.

I try to archive little insights, light-hearted anecdotes, and the moments that were emotionally important to me into these little zines.
