Finland was the first zine published under the pseudonym 'The Nonpublisher': a non-profit nonpublishing house.
The Nonpublisher was started as a way to publish anonymously while I was still developing myself as an illustrator. Publications under this name are usually short, fun, and soulful.
Nonpublishing rejects the idea of restricted access to publications and aspires to be public property. Therefore, zines published under this name were distributed in various common spaces at the university.
The Nonpublisher's first zine titled 'Finland' is a short poetic issue centred around desperation and belonging.
